Growing In Unity Day #1

This is my second time to be a GIU Girl, I stepped in last December to fill in for someone. Even though I had to create on the fly, I had so much fun doing all the different techniques I used for each card.

For today’s card I used : Mystical Mermaid, isn’t she beautiful?

I stamped the mermaid using Black Licorice ink and colored her with Color Burst Pencils blending them with a paper stub and baby oil. I used Blue Lagoon paper for the card base and a piece of paper from a Christmas pack for the accent paper then added some Wink of Stella to give this card a little Sparkle.

  5. What a lovely use of this stamp! I have not mastered the using of baby oil to smooth out my coloring but you make it look easy and gorgeous!
