Are we really half way through January?

January has been a crazy month so far, The first weekend I hosted a Fun Stampers Journey Booth at Heirloom Productions Stamp and Paper Arts show in Grapevine Tx. Then we flew to Las Vegas for The Lead With Heart conference for Fun Stampers Journey.

Here are the cards I created and taught at Heirloom.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.

Are you ready for Christmas?

I have a double batch of cream cheese cookies to frost and decorate, then to finish cleaning my house and I will be ready. Now on to todays cards.

I am going to post a few of the cards I created for my card classes in the last couple of months.

10-1-16-2

This card was colored with Journey Color Burst Pencils, I added silver silk for a little pizazz.

10-1-16-3

This card is really simple but lovely none the less. I used the rectangle pierced die to add detail to this card.

10-1-16-4

To this card holder I  stamped snowflakes and a belly band then added  a die cut snowflake to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting and hope you come back soon.

Growing In Unity – Day 5

Wow this week has flown by and here is my 5th card and last post of this week. We are a week closer to Christmas. Time for me to get my shopping done. Please remember to comment below for a chance to win the grab bag of 25 unity stamps. Please visit Unity Stamp Co. at https://www.unitystampco.com

To finish off the week I used the Snowflake and Peace stamps from the Kissmas and Mistletoe set.  I think this set is my favorite set out of the ones I have used this week. It has so many beautiful images that can be used in so many different ways.

I used Pan Pastels to create the back ground for this card then stamped the snowflakes and peace using Fun Stampers Journey clear pigment ink (versamark)then rubbed gently over the top of the stamped image with silver Pan Pastels then added the chipboard snowflakes and rhinestones to the bottom of the card to finish it off.

Thank you again for visiting my blog and leaving a comment this week, I hope you have enjoyed my cards and maybe I have inspired you to get busy creating as well.

It’s a Christmas theme again today, seems to be that time of year.

I stamped the penguin on whip cream paper using black licorice ink, then colored him  using Fun Stampers Journey Color Burst pencils and distressed the edges of all the card stock pieces.  Additionally I added Journey glaze and glitter to give it that little sparkle.
